My Sephora VIB Recommendations

Sephora decided to have three VIB sales this year, with the newest one being at the end of August, and I'm so happy that they decided to implement this because I've been dying to try some new makeup products. RIP my wallet. Here are my recommendations!

1. ABH Norvina Palette

I haven’t been this excited for a palette for a long time and have been waiting to get my hands on it since it first released. ABH makes some of my FAVORITE, if not my favorite, eyeshadows; their formula and colors are stunning. I have the Modern Renaissance and love it, but I skipped Subculture and Prism because they didn’t appeal to me, and Soft Glam because I already had so many of the colors as single eyeshadows.

2. Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette

I tried the original rose gold palette but returned it because the formula was super hard to work with and it created a mess every time I tried to use it. I’m going to give it another try because I really loved the colors and was sad when the formula wasn’t up to par.

3. Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette

I’m on the fence with this one. I’m naturally more drawn to the rose gold over this palette, but I’ve heard so many good reviews about this palette that I’m going to try it out.

4. Jouer Cosmetics Powder Highlighter in Citrine

I’m so happy that they started selling Jouer at Sephora, just in time for the sale, too! I’m going to get this highlighter because I’ve heard so many good reviews about it and I think it's a good price.

5. Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder Mini in Incandescent Light

I’m getting this product because I need a more natural highlight to wear on a day-to-day basis in my collection. I think the mini size is a good deal because it’s relatively affordable for such a high-end brand like Hourglass and I never finish any compact products.

6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Mini in Luminous Flush

I’m going through a phase right now where I’m obsessed with blush. I wanted to get a bunch of different ones, and this is just the one that I narrowed it down to. The stunning packaging may or may not have something to do with it.

7. Beauty Blender x Too Faced Beauty Sleep Set

I told myself I would never repurchase a beauty blender when I had my Real Techniques sponge, which was a fraction of the cost. However, I recently repurchased the Real Techniques sponge and they CHANGED THE PRODUCT! It’s really stiff now and doesn’t blend product very well. I’M SO SAD. Because of that, I’ve always had my eye on this set because I love the baby pink, I love the Too Faced Hangover RX Primer, and I’ve always wanted to try the setting spray. I’m a bit skeptical about the mini sponge, but maybe it’ll be useful for blending out concealer and in other hard to reach places. Now that I need a new sponge, I guess I’ll have to just splurge on this set.

8. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer

If there’s any makeup product that I’m ridiculously obsessed with, it’s primer. I don’t know why, I just love primers. I’ve been looking for a primer that is hydrating but gives me a smooth, silky finish for a long time. My Too Faced Hangover RX Primer and my Touch In Sol No Pore-blem Primer both do one or the other. I’ve tried the Hourglass primer which both hydrates and gives a silky, smooth finish, but that primer is ridiculously expensive so I decided to try this one.

9. Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Crème

I’ve been needing to add an eye cream to my skincare routine and I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about this one. My main concern is dark circles so hopefully it truly does brighten!

10. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick

For the past year, I’ve been on the hunt for a full coverage foundation. After MONTHS of trying so many different products, I fell in love with this one. I highly recommend!

11. Huda Beauty Classic False Lashes in Sasha #11

I’m just starting to get into the world of false lashes, and I’ve been seeing everyone wear Huda Beauty ones so I’m giving these ones a go!

12. Tatcha Smooth, Poreless Skin Obento Box

This set is perfect for me because I’ve been wanting to try the water cream and the silk canvas primer. I couldn’t justify buying both of those products because I already have a moisturizer and so many primers, but I couldn’t pass up this set!

13. Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat in Nude

I love products like this because they’re so versatile. You can use them on their own for an all-over, effortless shimmer, or you can add it on top of your eyeshadow look to really take it to the next level. There are so many products like this out there so I’ll probably be trying others, but this is just the one I went with.

14. Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Rose Gold Retro

I already own a few colors of this product and love it. I wanted the shade rose gold because I think it’ll go perfectly with warm, red, bronze, or orange eyeshadow looks, which I wear very frequently.
